Gershow Receives JFA Plaque for Recycling after Bellone Announces County Has Paid off Lease Buyback on H. Lee Dennison Building
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone announced during a press conference on December 13 that the county has successfully paid off the sale leaseback of the H. Lee Dennison Building in Hauppauge, meaning the county now owns the building again. The plaque commemorating the sale of the building to the county’s Judicial Facilities Agency was designated by Executive Steve Bellone to be scrap metal. Suffolk County officials presented the plaque to Gershow Recycling to be recycled and forgotten. The money that the county receives for the scrap will go directly into its reserve fund.
