Event Supports Dystonia Awareness
Gershow Recycling supported the Medford Chamber of Commerce’s Long Island Zoo Day, which was held at the Suffolk County Farm & Education Center in Yaphank on September 13 to raise awareness of dystonia.
Dystonia is a movement disorder that causes the muscles to contract. This can cause twisting motions or other movements that happen repeatedly and that aren’t under the person’s control.
