Transporting Scrap Metal

Gershow Recycling owns and operates a large fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers on Long Island in order to provide the scrap metal supplier with many options for scrap transportation. We also have a rail spur at our Medford, New York facility and own more than 250 rail cars in our fleet. Our ease of rail access allows us to ship and receive scrap metal and paper products from Canada to Florida, as well as the Midwestern States. Our roll-off container fleet consists of nearly 1000 units ranging in size form 10 to 80 yards. All of our trucks are radio dispatched and monitored via a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) System.
