Gershow Recycling Joins Girl Scouts and Elected Officials in Making a Happier Valentine’s Day for Assisted Living Facility Residents
Kevin Gershowitz, President, Gershow Recycling, and Brownie Girl Scout Madison Maccarino of Troop #942 in East Islip were joined by Suffolk County Legislator Jack Eddington and Brookhaven Town Councilman Tim Mazzei in giving out carnations, handmade Valentine’s Day cards and recyclable shopping bags to residents of McPeak’s Assisted Living Residence in Patchogue and Medford Hamlet Assisted Living Residence in Medford. The carnations and shopping bags were distributed, courtesy of Gershow Recycling. The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County collected more than 180 Valentine’s Day cards that were handed out to the residents.
