Gershow Recycling Donates Vehicle to Port Jefferson Ambulance Corps for Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Course

In support of local Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services crews, Gershow Recycling donated a vehicle to the Port Jefferson Ambulance Corps for a Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support course that was held at the corps’ facility in Mount Sinai on August 18.
The Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support course is a unique continuing education program in recognition of the real need in EMS education for additional training in the handling of trauma patients. The program is designed to enhance and increase knowledge and skills in delivering trauma care in the pre-hospital environment. The Port Jefferson Ambulance Corps thanked Gershow for their support and unique opportunities for simulated emergency training.
