Gershow Recycling Donates 14 Used Cars
for Annual Extrication Competition

In support of local Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services crews,
Gershow Recycling Corp. donated 14 cars used at the annual extrication
competition at Long Island's 2010 Fire, Rescue & EMS Mega Show, which took
place February 27-28 at The Expo Center at the Nassau Veterans Memorial
Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. In this extrication competition, 14 teams
had 20 minutes to take out a "victim" from the car involved in an "accident"
while accurately following procedure. Proceeds from the show went to benefit
the Islip Town Firefighters Museum and Education Center.
